What is the FixSeat System?
The FixSeat System is a flexible padding concept integrated into the shorts, allowing you to adjust support exactly where you need it. The shorts include two built-in pockets:
- One front pocket positioned for the pubic bone
- One larger rear pocket positioned for the seat bones
The shorts come with two sets of thin, shock-absorbing pads, made from the same high-quality material used in Mattes' renowned saddle pads. These pads can be easily positioned to reduce pressure, minimize chafing, and support a more balanced seat.
The Story Behind the Product
FixSeat Riding Shorts were developed based on our work as saddle fitters and therapists. We noticed a recurring issue, especially among women riders, who suffered from:
- Chafing and discomfort in the front
- Hip and lower back pain
- Difficulty finding a natural and balanced seat position
Why Is This a Common Issue?
Every pelvis is different – it’s not just about gender. Your seat in the saddle is influenced by:
